About Sharkproof Living™

Sharkproof Livin is a movement built on a simple idea: life is full of sharks, and learning to navigate among them changes everything. Through clear metaphors and practical tools, it helps people manage complexity, avoid traps, and move through the world with sharper awareness and stronger resilience.
At its core, Sharkproof Livin is a scenario-driven approach that applies across the realities of life. It teaches people to recognize risks, design strategies of resilience, and act with confidence in the face of uncertainty.

Sharkproof Living encourages people to stay aware, act deliberately, and make decisions that reflect their values.

About the Founder

Nabil Bedewi is of Lebanese and Armenian origin. He was born in Egypt, raised in Kuwait, and has lived in the United States since 1979. He is married, and he and his wife have one daughter.

Nabil retired as a professor after a long and rewarding career in both industry and academia. Over 29 years, he worked in Information Technology and Project Management, always drawn to the challenge of making complex systems clearer and more usable. His academic foundation spans three disciplines: a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering, and a Doctor of Science in Engineering Management with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. That path shaped the way he thinks and the way he teaches: simplify, clarify, empower.

Join Us

We are looking for people who want to help build the Sharkproof Living movement.

If you’re someone who wants to showcase your skills, gain experience, or contribute to a mission focused on helping others, please contact us.

These are volunteer roles designed for people who want to grow alongside the movement while contributing to something meaningful. As the movement scales, we intend to direct 90% of net revenue toward nonprofit educational and charitable purposes, ensuring the movement creates real public benefit. The remaining 10% will cover operational costs and be distributed among volunteers as a "thank you" for their support.
